For our final drop we return to Japan, this time in collaboration with Sadao Hasegawa, to capture a vision of homoerotic art often unseen by the western world.

A cult Japanese artist, Sadao Hasegawa (1945-1999), is best know for his work which fused Asian spirituality, tantric symbolism, and psychedelia. Once underground, his art has now become a key reference in queer aesthetics.

Primarily self-taught, Hasegawa's works explored themes of masculinity, gay identity and the complex of intersection of eastern and western cultures. Inspired by his vision, our capsule pays tribute to Hasegawa's iconic body of work and groundbreaking portrayals of queer expression.

We are incredibly grateful to have had the opportunity to interpret some of his works in this capsule, and are excited to finally share it with our community.
