Hi there

We all know the expression 'Less is more'. We may even agree. And yet, have you ever noticed how ... tempting 'more' can be?

One more web search. Another question to ChatGPT. And obviously, that last cookie isn't going to keep anyway. We do it in our documents and presentations too: pushing the limits on how much a PowerPoint slide can hold or throwing in a few more facts and datasets just in case.

So consider this month's issue an intervention, reminding us all of the truth in the well-worn saying. And discover how being carefully selective with the data we consume and share really does produce more impact - and greater results.

Plus: a webinar on the science of influence, tips for making your LinkedIn feed livelier and a quick question answered for anyone who's been feeling the heat.

Find out how to give your reports the boardroom advantage

Tablet computer displaying The boardroom advantage guide

The best board reports drive action. They connect an organisation's leaders with the people on the ground.

But when this connection breaks down, these reports block change and growth.

Whether you write board papers or read them, this practical guide will help.

It shows you how to:

✔️ build trust and alignment - close the gap between writers and the board to create empathy and reduce stress

✔️ cut through complexity - identify the key information that leaders need and present it in the best way for them to act on it

✔️ drive strategic momentum - build your authority and influence while driving better, faster decisions.
