"Dóldora: a juicy, low-intervention, single-origin red, crafted by the same two brothers who make Jumi-Juma. It's made using saperavi, a punchy grape that bursts with flavour and character: hence the name 'Dóldora', which means 'chock full', or 'full to the brim'."
Tell us a fun fact about Dóldora:
"Southern Moldova has been making wine for 7,000 years, and is home to the largest wine cellar in the world. A 250km underground city which holds two million bottles of wine. Moldovans are hardy, hospitable and obsessed with wine: at this family-owned vineyard, the grapes are blessed before harvest."
How should we enjoy it?
"However you like: serve chilled at a house party on Friday night. Pair with homemade dumplings and terrestrial TV on Saturday night, or bring to a long lunch with friends on Sunday afternoon. Enjoy it whilst editing holiday photos, whilst pruning your house plants, or whilst vacantly staring into space."
Dóldora is for people who...
"Are up for trying something different. Who enjoy wine but aren't necessarily experts, who go to house parties, supper clubs, and dinner parties. Who like stories behind their produce and who aren't bound to the traditional, familiar regions."
