The Week in Polls comes out weekly, almost always at 6pm on a Sunday. You can always find the latest edition at the top of the website, which also contains a full archive of back copies.
There’s also the related Bluesky account for updates during the week.
The newsletter always comes from an email address you can reply to, so please do respond if you have queries, questions or suggestions for stories I’ve missed. The feedback from readers is really valuable and so I personally read every response.
How to help ensure editions arrive safely
Each edition of The Week in Polls should arrive safely in your email inbox, but there’s always a risk that spam filters can get in the way. Here are a few simple steps to minimise the chances of missing out on any edition:
Just hit reply to this email and send me a quick note. (That you choose to reply to an email tells spam filters that you like receiving such messages.)
Add theweekinpolls@substack.com to your address book / contacts. (Again, this helps teach those pesky filters that this is an address you’re happy to receive messages from).
If you ever think you’ve missed an edition from your inbox, check your spam/junk folders (and, if you use Gmail, your promotions tab). If a message from theweekinpolls@substack.com is in there, just move it to your inbox as that will help train the spam filters.
Not only do these steps help you, they also help other subscribers too as the better trained spam filters are, the more all readers will benefit.
