Today, we had the honour of welcoming HRH Catherine, Princess of Wales to our factory here in Cardigan.
Her visit recognises Hiut Denim Co. for excellence in British textile craftsmanship and more importantly, the people behind it who carry those skills forward today.
Our makers were proud to share the work they do every day: cutting, sewing, repairing, and finishing jeans by hand, just as generations before them once did in this town. Cardigan was once home to a thriving jeans industry, and Hiut exists to ensure those skills remain a living, working craft.
To mark the occasion, we gifted HRH The Princess of Wales the very first pair of 'Mari' jeans, a new women's fit and Prince William a pair of Hack@ jeans. The 'Mari' is part of a new line of women's and men's jeans that we'll be introducing this April. Designed and crafted with the same principles that guide everything we do: design innovation, quality, and respect for craft.
We're immensely proud of our team, grateful for the recognition, and committed to making jeans that are built to last, by people who care deeply about how they're made.
Thank you for being part of that story.
