In case you missed it, our first Workshop Wisdom Crefft piece is now available.
The Hiut Welsh Blanket is woven at Elvet Woollen Mill in Cynwyl Elfed, around 30 minutes from our factory in Cardigan. Made with Daniel Harris of The London Cloth Co., it uses 100% wool, the traditional Caernarfon pattern and a reversible double-cloth construction in Hiut colours.
It felt like a natural place for Crefft to begin: useful, beautiful, and shaped by skilled hands and a desire to keep craft alive.
Daniel has been restoring Elvet Mill since taking ownership in 2022, returning its historic looms to work and helping keep Welsh weaving skills and textile traditions in use.
Only 25 blankets remain.
