Hi there,

We've been quiet for a few weeks.

Mostly because we've had our heads down doing some serious planning for this year.

And the decades to come.

Sometimes you just have to do some deep thinking.

Reset your goals and your purpose.

Make sure what you are doing is what you set out to do in the first place.

- Ask some big questions.

- Clarify your thinking.

- Push yourself to be the best you can possibly be.

Oftentimes it comes back to listening to your heart.

And you realise that you do what you do, because you love it.

And that kind of brings me on to this short run.

It got me thinking: why did we decide to do it?

We could talk a lot about camo in fashion and how it became synonymous with 90's streetwear (more on that below).

We could talk about the different types of camo and how the colour combinations are rooted in nature (kind of interesting).

But really, it all boiled down to the fact that we just really liked it.

A nice, understated camo.

Subtle colours.

In a weighty but wearable fabric.

Camo patterns are rooted in nature, mimicking the way animals use colours and textures to blend into their environments.

It served a practical purpose for concealment in nature and warfare, but it soon evolved to become a symbol of rebellion and artistic expression.

Camo became a staple in hip-hop and streetwear culture in the 1990's and early 2000's and was adopted by brands like Supreme, BAPE and Stussy.

It has also found it's place in luxury fashion appearing in collections from Jean Paul Gaultier, Valentino and Virgil Abloh, to bring an edge to the high-end aesthetic.
