Hi there,

Here's a short story about Slow Fashion.

Pilot 178. 4^th February 2020.

The first prototype of our Slim Shorts were made.

It had only taken us eight summers of making jeans to get around to making our first batch of shorts.

A slim, classic fit, based on our Hack@ Jean, they fast became a bestseller.

And they have been our favourites summer after summer.

Pilot 451: 13^th May 2025.

A new pilot of a wider leg short was made.

Inspired by the Work@, our regular fit, this short is wider through the leg, more relaxed in the rise, and built for comfort.

This time it has only taken us five years, three months and nine days.

You can't rush these things.

This new short has been a real team effort.

Our latest recruit, Cally, has been working alongside Sara on product.

She took the lead on this one.

Under detailed guidance from the master of pattern cutting - Steve.

We've iterated, iterated and iterated.

And right now, the GrandMasters are busy making the first batch.

Same craftsmanship. Just looser.

When it comes to comfort, the details matter: the new short has a higher rise, looser pocket openings, deeper front pockets.

But it's still made from our signature organic denim.
