Even more exciting-Just Bee is turning 10 years old on 25th March! 🎉 We can't believe it's been a decade of buzzing together, and we're so grateful for your support. See below a letter from Andy and I explaining how it all began. To celebrate, we've got some birthday surprises in store, including (extra) Limited Edition honey - stay tuned! 🍯✨
March is also a time to celebrate the incredible women in our lives, with International Women's Day and Mother's Day just around the corner.

10 YEARS OF JUST BEE - OUR JOURNEY & A BIG THANK YOU!

Dear Just Bee Community,
Do you know the story of Just Bee?
Well, it all started in September 2013, when my friend Andy and I were on holiday. We made a pact! Instead of just dreaming about starting a business, we would take action.
Fast forward to March 2015, and we had our first product ready to launch. But was it good enough? We took a leap of faith, quit our jobs, and introduced a honey-sweetened soft drink to the world (using honey from my dad's beehive). The response was incredible! Our drinks landed on the shelves of Fortnum & Mason, Selfridges and independent stores in Manchester. We couldn't believe our creation was being sold in such prestigious retailers!
Between 2015 and 2020, we steadily grew Just Bee, securing listings with Sainsbury's, Boots (on the Meal Deal!), Coop, WHSmith and more. One of my proudest moments was receiving a text from an old work colleague, telling me that our drinks were being sold in my former workplace's canteen!
Another highlight was our 2017 appearance on Dragons' Den, where Peter Jones offered us "ALL THE MONEY" (though we had to tell him to bee-hive himself when he asked for 25% equity!).
Then came 2020-a pivotal year. The pandemic marked the end of Just Bee Drinks, and nearly wiped us out completely. But like a phoenix rising from the ashes, we pivoted. We launched Vitamin Honey, designed to support immunity and soothe sore throats. Demand skyrocketed, and we've been struggling to keep up ever since!
Over the past five years, we've introduced 50+ new products, built a buzzing team of 20 at Honey HQ in Manchester, and stayed true to our mission: creating functional and delicious honey products to support your health and wellness whilst also helping to save the bees. And we're just getting started!
Andy and I feel incredibly fortunate to be on this journey, and we couldn't have done it without YOU-our amazing customers. Whether you've been with us for 10 days or 10 years, thank you from the bottom of our honey-loving hearts. Hi Joe,
I have a little honey query that I hope you can help with! I'm a big fan of your Lemon and Ginger Honey, it's been my daily go-to and I swear it's kept the sniffles away for a solid six months now.
However, I've also dabbled into a few of your irresistible limited editions (couldn't help myself!), and now I've got three nearly empty pots-Mulled Spice, Vanilla, and Super Ginger. 🤤 My taste buds are tickled at the thought of mixing them. What's your take? Can I stir up a little trio of tastiness without causing a honey hullabaloo?

What a 'sticky' situation you've found yourself in! 😄 First off, hats off to you for keeping those colds at bay for half a year, your immune system is on a winning streak!
About mixing those honeys? Absolutely go for it! I often play mad scientist with our flavours too. One of my faves is Strawberry & Cream mixed with Vanilla, oh so dreamy! 🍓🍦 So, your Super Vanilla Mulled Ginger concoction? Sounds like an experiment waiting to happen! Do mix them up and let us know how your unique blend turns out, I might just give it a go myself!
