Hello Honey Lovers,
Spring has officially sprung! 🌸🐝 Over the past month, beekeepers across the country have been checking in on their hives, making sure their colonies made it through winter and that their Queen is happy and healthy. With longer days and busier bees, what's not to love?
Speaking of bees... April is the perfect time to scatter your Just Bee Wildflower Seeds! 🌼 If you haven't planted yours yet, now's your chance. In just a few weeks, you'll have your very own bee-friendly paradise. No garden? No problem! Sprinkle them in a window box or even a local park-the bees will love you for it! 🐝💛
Oh, and here's some buzz-worthy news... 🐝 We're launching a brand-new product this month! It's not honey, but it does come straight from the hive-perfect for sprinkling on yoghurt, porridge, salads, or desserts. That's right-pure bee pollen is coming on 10th April! CELEBRATING OUR 10-YEAR BIRTHDAY
|
|
March 25th marked 10 incredible years of Just Bee, and what a celebration it was! We wanted to share the joy with you, our amazing community, so we gave away over 1,000 Limited Edition baking kits to customers taking part in our birthday celebration. 🐝🍯
Each kit included a cake mix, our Limited Edition Salted Caramel Immunity Honey, candles, a balloon, and a party blower-plus a handwritten note from our founders, Joe & Andy. A small thank you for being part of our journey.
We also ran a competition to find the most creative bake. And wow, did you deliver! The winner didn't just get bragging rights-they won a 12-month supply of our Limited Edition honey! See our Facebook page for the winning cake and other marvellous creations! 🍯🏆
Here at Honey HQ, we had our own celebrations. The party planning committee did a fantastic job decorating the whole office in bee themed bunting and a bee piñata! There was plenty of food, drinks, and a Bake Off challenge, where some of the Worker Bees brought in their own birthday cakes. Sophie took the title of Star Baker!
And, of course, we couldn't resist a bit of friendly competition. Joe vs. Andy games turned into a battle of skill, determination, and (let's be honest) a bit of luck. We had a table tennis competition and a Just Bee quiz, created by co-founder Andy.
Below are the winners.
🏓 Table Tennis - Abdul took the crown (and hasn't stopped reminding us since!)
🐝 Just Bee Quiz - "Eddy's Team" and "The Rubbish Team" (the teams chose their own names!) took the spoils
A huge thank you to each and every one of you who joined in our birthday celebrations-whether by baking, competing, sharing your creations, or simply sending us the most wonderful birthday messages. Seeing so many of you get involved truly made this milestone feel extra special. Your support over the past 10 years has meant everything to us.
Here's to another decade of delicious honey, exciting new creations, and, most importantly, the amazing Just Bee family we've built together. 🐝💛✨

Hi Joe,
I've been a Just Bee customer for a while now, and over the last eight months, I've collected six packets of your free wildflower seeds (love that you include them in every order, by the way! 🌸🐝).
I was all set to plant them, but my friend told me April is too late-and now I'm worried I've missed my chance! Is there anything I can do to still plant them this month, or should I wait until next year? I'd really love to make my garden a haven for the bees!
Looking forward to your advice,
Mary

Hey Mary,
Great news-April isn't too late to plant your Just Bee wildflower seeds! 🌸 While autumn and early spring are ideal, you can still plant our seeds up until mid June and still see flowers the same year!
🌞 Pick a sunny day
🌿 Prepare the soil (loosen and remove weeds)
🌱 Scatter the seeds on the surface
🚿 Water lightly and keep the soil moist
You should see sprouts in a few weeks! Let us know how your wildflowers bloom. 🐝✨

What is Bee Pollen?
Bee pollen might be small, but it's making a big impact in the world of health and wellness. Packed with nutrients, it's often called "nature's multivitamin", but what exactly is it, and why is it so special? Collected by honeybees, bee pollen is formed as they move from flower to flower, gathering nectar and picking up tiny pollen grains along the way. The bees mix these grains with nectar and natural enzymes, forming small golden granules that they store in the hive. It's an essential food source for young bees, but it turns out it's just as beneficial for us too!
