Hello Wellness Friends,
How are we all feeling? It feels like those winter bugs have been hanging around a little longer than usual this year, with a few of my family still shaking them off. But with the Easter bank holiday around the corner and some warmer weather finally showing up, I'm hoping that's the last of it.
I can't wait to get back out into the garden and enjoy a bit more time outdoors. At home, we're looking forward to an Easter egg hunt with my daughter and her cousins, along with a bit of egg painting and egg rolling too. I only recently realised egg rolling isn't as widespread as I thought, but it was always a big part of Easter for me growing up.
I'm also hoping to carve out some time later this month to watch Secrets of the Bees on National Geographic. It's a great reminder of the power of nature and why it plays such an important role in how we think about everyday wellbeing at Just Bee.
And a quick thank you from all of us. We've just passed 15,000 Trustpilot reviews, which is an incredible milestone. Your support and feedback mean a lot, and it's brilliant to hear how our blends are becoming part of your daily routines. Here's to feeling better, getting outside and embracing Spring 🌞

A SIMPLE STEP FOR EVERYDAY WELLNESS
|
|
Recently, the whole Just Bee team headed out on a wellness walk to Trafford Ecology Park, just down the road from our HQ. It was a chance to step away from our desks (and the honey tanks!), get outside and reset together. As you'll know, there's plenty of research showing the positive impact nature can have on reducing stress and helping to rebalance the nervous system, and you could really feel that shift just by being out in the sunshine.
Trafford Ecology Park has been a dedicated urban nature reserve for over 40 years, originally created to transform post-industrial land into a thriving green space for wildlife and the local community. Today, it's funded through a mix of grants, partnerships and community support. We're currently in talks with the park about a partnership focused on bee-friendly and sustainability initiatives that help protect pollinators and bring everyday wellbeing closer to the natural world. Watch this space!
What made our team walk even more special was the conversation. Stepping away from the usual work setting made space for something different. We caught up on life outside the office, from exciting news about growing families to welcoming new team members like Matt, our Product and Technical Manager. Conversations flowed, from updates on our upcoming office renovation to a surprisingly passionate debate about the humble jacket potato and everyone's preferred toppings!
It was such a success that we've decided to make it a regular thing. We'll now be hosting a 20 minute lunchtime walk every Wednesday, led by Joe and open to anyone who wants to join. A simple moment in the day to move, reset and reconnect.
We also spotted early signs of nature coming to life, which has inspired many of us to get out this weekend and plant wildflower seeds, ready for the months ahead.

Lemon & Ginger Loaf
Light, zesty and wonderfully comforting, this Lemon & Ginger Loaf is the perfect bake for a simple moment of feel-good. With a gentle warmth from ginger and a fresh citrus lift, it's a lovely treat to enjoy with a cup of tea or to share with friends.
You can use any of our honeys in this recipe, but we especially recommend Royal Honey. Its smooth, delicate sweetness adds a naturally uplifting twist, complementing the lemon and ginger beautifully without overpowering the flavours.
Easy to make and beautifully moist, this is one of those bakes you'll come back to time and time again.

Hi Joe,
Is it controversial to say not everything needs improving this spring? I'm not preening my garden this year. I'm mowing it less for the bees and over the next few weeks I'm spending time with my local scout group, helping kids learn about planting, bees and nature. I can't wait!
Regards, Gilly

Hi Gilly,
This really made our day, thank you for sharing. Those scouts are lucky to have you! And yes, we totally agree regarding the mowing - we will be talking more about this for our "no mow may campaign"!

A SIMPLE EASTER ACTIVITY: BUILD YOUR OWN BEE HOTEL
Looking for something simple to keep the kids entertained over the Easter holidays? Building a bee hotel is an easy, low-cost activity that's not only fun, but also supports your local environment. Unlike honey bees, which live together in large hives, many wild bees are solitary.
That means they don't have a colony to return to and instead look for small, safe spaces to lay their eggs. Sadly, modern gardens and urban spaces don't always offer enough of these natural nesting spots, which is where a bee hotel can make a real difference.
