What the mark actually is

A faint scuff, a shade of inconsistency in the polish, something on one shoe and not the other. The sort of thing you would put there yourself inside a fortnight of wearing them.
Nothing else changes. Same leather, same lining, same construction, same free delivery and returns. We say it because it would be easier not to, and because most people who buy them never find the mark.
