Half the year in this country is wet, and the usual answer to that is a separate pair of boots kept by the door for the worst of it. We have never quite believed in that. Almost everything in the range already sits on a rubber sole, which is the part that matters once the pavement is running.
So these three are not special-occasion boots. They are the ones you would have worn anyway, picked out here because the ground is wet and none of them mind.

The shoe that does not change.
A four eyelet semi-brogue in polished calf, the brogueing kept to the toe cap so it stays formal enough for the office, on a rubber island sole so it does not mind the walk from the station. The one we would point a first-time customer at. Black or tan.

Premium calf with a smooth polished finish, a fine elastic gusset and a rear pull loop, fully leather lined, on a density impact studded sole and heel. Brown or black.

The easiest first boot.
Plain calf with a storm welt and contrast stitch, two eyelets and nothing else to fuss over, fully leather lined with a removable cushioned insole, on a density rubber studded sole that holds on a wet pavement. Brown or black.
