A first look
Unlacquered brass, now polished.
Our unlacquered brass has always been raw and satin: bare metal, left soft and matte from the machine. This is its brighter twin. The same solid brass, the same bare surface, now taken to a warm polish before it leaves the workshop.

The finish
The brass most people picture
Polished is how unlacquered brass is best known: the bright, warm metal of old bar rails and well-worn front doors. It has been the most requested finish we do not make, so we developed it with the workshop that machines our brass.
There is still no lacquer between you and the metal. It arrives bright, then lives: softening, deepening and taking on the patina of your hands. A soft cloth brings the shine straight back whenever you want it.

Satin or polished
One metal, two temperaments
|
| The satin original. Raw brass left matte from the machine. It stays in the range, and stays the choice for anyone who loves a quieter surface.
|
| The new polish. The same bare brass brought up to a bright, warm shine, the way unlacquered brass has traditionally been finished.
|
| Both are living finishes. No lacquer, so every touch feeds the patina. Keep the shine with a soft cloth, or leave it to mellow on its own.
