A 200 page report lands on my desk for every batch of Weighted Blankets we make.
It details every step of our process.
Stitch strength. Colour consistency. The way the filling is distributed through each square.
We even weigh the fabric to make sure it matches the specification exactly.
It might sound excessive, but when it comes to sleep, small details make a big difference.
A slightly heavier fabric, a stitch too tight, or a shift in how the fill settles can change the way the blanket feels against your skin and how your body releases heat through the night.
Our process is obsessive.
Sometimes frustratingly so. But it matters.
Because when you climb into bed, you should never have to think about what is under the covers.
You should just feel the calm, even pressure and let your body do the rest.
That 200-page report is how we make sure of it.
The same attention to detail runs through everything we make, from mattresses to sleep masks.
Sleep is deeply psychological, so how you feel when you get into bed matters.
Knowing that you have given yourself the best chance of a good night's sleep is just another quiet cue that can help your body switch off.
Sleep well,
