Hi there,
We wanted to reach out personally because something important is happening.
The BBC (Radio 4 Today Programme) is currently working on a series this week exploring what happens after people stop taking weight loss injections, or complete NHS-led weight loss or Type 2 diabetes programmes. They're particularly interested in real, lived experiences, not experts, brands, or "perfect success stories".
Over the past year, many of you have shared how difficult the after phase can be. Coming off medication or structured support, being dropped back into a food system full of highly processed products, hidden sugars, and confusing advice, and trying to hold on to the progress you worked so hard for.
That experience matters. And it's rarely talked about.
The BBC has asked whether we can put them in touch with people we support who'd be willing to share a few honest soundbites, or potentially have a calm, offline conversation with them. This would not be promotional, and it would not involve full identification. They would use first names only.
There's absolutely no obligation here but as incentive if you say yes we'll give you a £5 voucher and double it if you get interviewed.
If this isn't for you, that's completely fine. But if you:
- Have reached the end off weight loss injections or NHS weight loss programmes
- Have struggled with regain, cravings, or food confusion afterwards
- And have found relief in navigating lower-carb alternatives to stay well
and you'd be open to chatting (very gently) with a BBC producer this week, we'd love to hear from you.
Just click the button below, wait a few seconds for the form to load, complete the super simple form and we will pass your details on to the BBC.
Your stories already help people every day. This is a chance to help many more feel less alone.
With thanks,
Andy & The SRSLY Team
