Stone Island Denim Research exists to challenge the very possibilities of denim, reimagining the structure, composition, and technical properties of the fabric through the use of innovative new treatments and processes.
New technological research for Spring_Summer '026 is applied to jeans, outerwear, shirting, and trousers. Hollow fibre nylon is used to create pieces with extraordinary lightness, which are indigo-dyed to take on the appearance of denim.
Actor Charlie Hunnam wears 4100002 Dense Oxford Nylon-TC, a coach jacket made from an oxford weave, reinterpreted in nylon to lend strength and lightness to the fabric.

The Spring_Summer '026 collection introduces a new seasonal enzyme bleach wash, producing an ultra-light finish on outerwear and jeans.
Latin Grammy Award winning artist & songwriter Feid wears 4100006 Indigo Denim-Ultra Bleached jacket, a coach jacket made from 13.5oz denim, woven with indigo-dyed cotton yarns using a twill weave that creates the signature diagonal pattern of denim.
The finished garment is faded through an enzymatic wash followed by a chlorine treatment.
