As part of its ongoing cultural dialogue, Stone Island is proud to unveil the next chapter of its STONE ISLAND SOUND initiative. Stone Island Sound: The Podcast is a series of conversations that explore the brand's multifaceted universe and its community.
Over more than four decades, whether in the bars of Milan, on football terraces or in dance clubs, Stone Island has forged genuine relationships with its globe-spanning audience. All the while boundary-crossing music has played a parallel role in the brand's journey from the Paninaro anthem by the Pet Shop Boys to Britpop, from the '90s techno raves to hip-hop, interweaving innovation in sound with innovation in design.

Stone Island Sound: The Podcast seeks to widen the scope of the cultural discourse around the brand. The podcast is hosted by Arco Maher, a noted Stone Island archivist and friend of the house, who will dialogue with "the most inspiring voices in the Stone Island universe, fellow enthusiasts and friends who drive culture through their creative obsession."
In Episode 001, Maher speaks with Ewen Spencer, British photographer and filmmaker known for his work at the iconic youth culture magazines The Face and sleazenation and more recent publishing projects for Friend Editions and Stanley Barker Books. This episode will air exclusively on Spotify and YouTube on May 30th, 2025. Subsequent podcast episodes will be released quarterly.

The podcast follows the recent activation of Friendly Pressure: Studio One, an immersive sonic experience unveiled during Milan Design Week in April 2025. Its week-long program of events, including live DJ sets, talks, and live performances was attended by over 16.000 people and marked the next step of the Stone Island cultural evolution. Emerging from this project is the playlist CURATED BY_STUDIO ONE, bringing together the musical selections of the artists who took part.
