Hi ,

Today is 4th July - and as an American living in the UK, it's the one day of the year where I feel genuinely torn.

I love this country. I really do. Fifteen years in and I wouldn't change it. But today my friends and family back home are watching fireworks, eating far too much food and celebrating with the kind of unashamed joy that Americans do better than anyone!

So every year on this day, I find myself feeling a little nostalgic. A little homesick. And enormously grateful for the life I've built on both sides of the Atlantic.

Sweet Bee exists because of both. From America, I brought the belief that you should never settle - that if something can be better, you make it better, and you don't apologise for caring that much. From England, I learned patience. That the best things are made slowly, in small batches, with proper attention. That craft matters. That a cup of tea and a quiet evening are genuinely restorative.

Every product we make sits somewhere between those two ideas - driven and considered, ambitious and gentle. I think that's what makes Sweet Bee what it is. You can explore our collection and our newest products here.
