Hello there,

I'm not going to go on about new year, new you - as I've said, that isn't my approach. But I do like to put good habits in place as the year begins.

Life is hectic, so I like to bring in an hour of me-time at the end of a busy day. It's a way of letting go of the day and calming my brain from a place of doing to a place of being. It means switching off all those digital devices too, it's incredible how stepping away can feel.

Bath time is a way to start to slow down. My phone goes away as the day is done. I use our Sweet Little Detox, which helps my body relax as well as naturally eliminating toxins from my system. You could use an alternative bath oil or soak that ideally doesn't contain paraffins or unnatural fragrance.

Then it's time to give my skin a little TLC. First I cleanse with Black Soap Cleanser, which I love because it really cleans my skin but nourishes it too. Then I spend time giving my face a little massage with Sacred Skin Facial Oil, a deeply nourishing oil which smells incredible. Finally, it's time to bring on some good quality sleep. I always rub our lavender scented Sweet Sleep Magnesium Butter into my feet before reading - around 20 mins before I go to sleep. Before I know it, I've nodded off. It's no wonder I never finish my book!
