As I sneak away from my family to write this note, surrounded by the familiar Christmas chaos of wrapping paper, half-finished mince pies and far too many cups of tea, I can't quite believe another year has flown by. But just before I'm beckoned back to stir the gravy, I wanted to take a moment to thank you - our incredible community - for being part of it all.
2025 has been an amazing year for WNU. Our team has over doubled in size, which includes welcoming a few more hounds to the office pack. And they have all been brilliant (pups and people) at keeping morale high as we took some exciting and slightly trepidatious steps into new territory.
In April, we launched our first-ever T-shirt, the Soho, which sold out in just 10 days. Then, in May, the Sloane dress in Irish linen - our first-ever dress launch - made her debut, completely selling out in the red and white shades in under 6 hours! We jetted off to New York for stateside pop-ups and events three times and launched two new stores back home - one in London and one in my favourite town, Salcombe. We also collaborated with the incredible artist, Bellamy Jean, which brought fresh creativity to our summer linen collection.
All of this - product launches, collaborations, retail expansion, new team members - they've all been big moves for us. But seeing the hard work from our incredible team and the enthusiasm from both new and returning customers made it so worth it.
Of course, none of this success would feel complete without giving back. And this year, our fourth annual coat drive for Calling London raised a record-breaking amount, with donations up 101% from last year, for the vital work they do in the city. We were overwhelmed by your generosity this year and were so delighted to be supporting them again.
As for next year, expect all this again - and more! So, we hope you'll be with us along the way. Oh, and it may be worth keeping an eye out for something very exciting launching on 2nd January...
And with that, I wish you all a very merry Christmas and a happy New Year.
Thank you so much for being part of WNU.
