We spent the afternoon at Flamingo Estate for Crown Affair's launch of their new "Minis"- tiny versions of their bestsellers, made for getaways and good hair days on the go. They hosted a backyard BBQ that felt more like a gathering of friends than a brand event (in the best way).

We were invited to bring a little éliou to the party, so we set up a charm-making station in the Veranda. Guests created their own bag charms, strung with shells, beads, and a Crown Affair comb.

Flamingo Estate feels like a dream someone had about living slowly and made it real life. The property is overflowing with life- it's the kind of property that looks like it's been growing for generations. And then there's the house, every room layered with color and texture: velvet, stone, wood, linen. It feels like someone collected things over time, with intention and zero rush. It's a home that feels deeply lived in and loved.

There's something really special about giving people the space to create. We design things all the time, but it was a different experience to invite others in- to let them find their own flow. Everyone approaches things so differently.

Magic filled the room that night as we watched people express themselves creatively in small, beautiful ways. It's an experience we hope to offer again and again.
